As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol in Nottingham, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and guests. You will respond to concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service while meeting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to the appropriate contacts and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing guests and responding to general inquiries.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations.
