As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in BETHESDA, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency responders and/or site representatives as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
