About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Radio Dispatcher in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and help direct responses to security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional presence, provide exceptional customer service, and help support smooth operations for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Receive and coordinate incoming calls, radio traffic, and dispatch requests; communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel in a clear, professional, and timely manner.
• Monitor access points, vehicle activity, delivery schedules, and/or alarm and camera systems; document observations and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor records, and other required documentation using site-provided systems and tools.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
