As a Security Officer Full Time Route Patrol Driver in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide courteous customer service and clear communication. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at government facilities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs accurately and in a timely manner.
