As a Security Officer Full Time Route Patrol Driver in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide courteous customer service and clear communication. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at government facilities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs accurately and in a timely manner.
