About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail center, including common areas, parking areas, loading zones, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, property damage, and/or policy violations, and report observations through established site procedures.
• Assist with access control, directions, visitor inquiries, and coordination with site management and first responders as needed.
