About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicle information, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site protocols and government location requirements.
Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and completing required reports related to security-related incidents and patrol activity.
