As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support daily security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report potential hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support access control processes in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal standards.
  • Complete routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation, and relay relevant information during shift changes to support continuity of security-related operations.
