As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Laurinburg, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and responding to emergency and non-emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Perform regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, control entry and exit activity, and report security-related incidents, policy violations, and maintenance concerns through appropriate channels.
• Support operations at a government location by observing resident and visitor movement, responding to disturbances, and assisting with security-related escorts, restricted area checks, and incident documentation.
• Communicate with site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed, while maintaining detailed logs, written reports, and updates on daily activities and critical events.
