As a Security Officer Full Time Driver in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading healthcare location, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment through clear communication, professionalism, and integrity while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A New York State Security Guard License is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at a front desk within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location by following site-specific procedures, visitor-management protocols, and security-related policies.
  • Greet, screen, and direct visitors, contractors, and employees; verify identification and credentials; and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor access to the facility, issue visitor badges and/or access credentials as authorized, and help to deter unauthorized entry by reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Answer phones, provide directions and general site information, maintain a professional front-desk presence, and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
