As a Security Officer Full Time Driver in Lawrence Township, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a utility location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will contribute to a caring, reliable team that puts people first, acts with integrity, and supports critical operations through agile, innovative service.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, or unauthorized activity.
  • Support compliance with site rules and access-control procedures while helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining professional communication with onsite personnel.
