As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol Ambassador in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail mall location. Conduct vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid in-state driver’s license. You’ll contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach while helping create a welcoming environment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of retail areas, common spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including requesting emergency assistance when appropriate.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and unauthorized access, and promptly report concerns through established channels.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in clear and accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and authorized location contacts.
