About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Badge Administration in Nazareth, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge and visitor access, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
  • Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry and exit activity.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and escalating concerns as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, business facilities, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
