About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatcher in Leawood, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, maintenance-related concerns, and other security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor communication systems, cameras, alarms, and other site systems; maintain accurate incident logs, dispatch records, and shift activity reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
