As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, documenting activity, and communicating professionally with employees, drivers, and guests. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Manage vehicle, visitor, and employee access, directing authorized personnel to designated areas while reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
