As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Security in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government health and family services location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, direct visitors to appropriate service areas, and maintain awareness of activity within assigned areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, building interiors, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to incidents, patrols, access activity, and other security-related concerns.
