As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access, verify credentials, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using authorized equipment and following applicable laws, post orders, and Allied Universal procedures.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for security-related events.
