As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Santa Monica, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements while maintaining a professional presence.
Prepare accurate incident reports, document unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
