This position is responsible for training new hires in various Security Officer duties. The training includes but is not limited to: tower patrol with the Tour Trax system, evac chair training, company policies and procedures, outside patrol, casino duties, report writing, incident investigations, emergency procedures (fire, bomb, medical, etc.), customer service, handcuffing, first aid, hazard communication, biohazard, and safety risks including people and property liability issues. The role also involves conducting in-service training, monitoring and evaluating probationary employees, consulting with department supervisors on new hire development, and designing criteria to maintain officer efficiency. The officer will also prepare reports on events and incidents where company responsibility or liability is at risk.
