Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following site-specific policies, verifying identification, and assisting with entry procedures for the location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, manage visitor check-in and sign-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence and security-related screening practices.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Answer phones, direct guests, receive deliveries, and document visitor activity, incidents, and other security-related information according to site procedures.
  • Support access control functions for a financial services location by issuing temporary credentials, maintaining logs, and following confidentiality and professionalism standards during daily interactions.
