Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
  • Monitor lobby and front desk activity, manage visitor check-in processes, verify access permissions, and direct guests, vendors, and/or contractors to the appropriate destination.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through established site protocols when needed.
  • Support day-to-day front desk operations by answering questions, documenting security-related events, and communicating clearly with building management and/or emergency contacts.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry points, maintaining awareness of lobby activity, and reporting unusual behavior or conditions according to site procedures.
