As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will engage professionally with employees and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization credentials in accordance with established visitor management and access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, timely activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.
