About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to monitor access, respond to security-related concerns, and support a professional atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, confirming credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting unusual or unauthorized activity to site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established communication and escalation procedures.
  • Support a professional lobby and reception presence for a financial services location by answering questions, directing employees and visitors, and documenting security-related events and/or concerns.
  • Assist with badge and key control processes, receive deliveries as directed, and help to deter disruptions through attentive observation and timely reporting.
