Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by greeting visitors, managing front desk activity, and carrying out site-specific procedures for an aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor access to the location by checking identification, verifying visitor information, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Answer phones, assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and front desk requests, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to access control, visitor management, and security-related events.
