About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk Visitor Intake in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
  • Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while providing clear communication to building management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.
