About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Support in Mason, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and assisting with access management. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or clients at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
  • Assist in emergency response activities as needed, communicating promptly with Allied Universal management and appropriate personnel.
  • Support a welcoming environment while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence at the front desk.
