Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous experience at all times.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help to deter incidents and maintain order within the location.
  • Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and credentials as necessary to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to relay information and address concerns.
  • Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions at the front desk and report observations promptly to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following all relevant procedures and guidelines.
