As a Front Desk Officer at a high-end retail location, you will welcome guests, manage access and visitor logs, and support store teams with clear communication and quick, professional response to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security experience.
  • Be at least 21 or more years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access control guidelines, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Greet and screen visitors, vendors, and contractors, verify identification and/or appointments, issue visitor credentials when required, and direct individuals to the proper location within the retail environment.
  • Monitor entry points and the front lobby area for unusual activity, report concerns to management, and help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, documenting details, and requesting assistance from onsite leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete front desk logs and reports, answer phones and relay messages, and communicate security-related information to store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
