As a Front Desk Officer at a busy automotive location, you will welcome visitors and team members, manage access and visitor logs, monitor cameras and alarms, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. You will be a visible, professional presence that helps to deter unwanted activity while delivering customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive office and showroom front desk.
  • Control access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification as required, issuing visitor badges, and directing guests to the appropriate area.
  • Monitor lobby activity and front desk systems, help to deter unauthorized entry, and report irregularities according to site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete security-related documentation such as visitor logs, incident reports, and shift activity summaries, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
