As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping staff, patients, and visitors with check-in support, access control, visitor logs, and clear directions. You will monitor entry activity, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate quickly with site teams as needed. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Greet and screen visitors, vendors, and contractors; verify identification, issue temporary badges, and direct guests to the appropriate department in a professional manner.
  • Monitor lobby activity and entry points, maintain sign-in and key control logs as required, and communicate unusual conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Answer phones and route calls, assist with basic inquiries, and support staff with administrative tasks related to front desk operations and security-related reporting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document events accurately, and coordinate with medical staff and/or local responders when appropriate.
