You will help manage access, check in visitors, support staff with badges and/or directions, monitor security-related systems, and communicate concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 1+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Greet and screen visitors, patients, and vendors; verify identification and/or appointments; issue visitor credentials; and direct individuals to appropriate destinations per site procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity and front entrance areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report concerns to appropriate personnel using established communication and escalation guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical emergency notifications and coordinating with site staff and/or public responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of visitor activity, incidents, and security-related notifications; support access control processes for doors, keys, and/or badge systems at the front desk.
