About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while helping maintain a secure environment. You will manage visitor access, monitor cameras and alarms, log incidents, and respond to requests with clear communication and customer-focused service. Using a computer and/or tablet, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk of a commercial real estate location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies, including greeting and assisting tenants, visitors, and vendors.
  • Monitor access to the property by managing visitor check-in and check-out, verifying identification as required, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining accurate lobby activity logs.
  • Operate and observe security-related systems at the front desk such as CCTV, alarms, and intercoms, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting building management and/or emergency services when appropriate and documenting actions taken.
  • Support property operations by coordinating deliveries and service calls, controlling key and credential sign-out when applicable, and communicating updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
