As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to maintain a welcoming, professional environment. You will manage access, verify credentials, monitor cameras and alarms, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a front desk by following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies within a tech-focused location.
  • Control access by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials as directed, managing visitor logs, and directing guests to approved destinations.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other security-related systems from the reception area, reporting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete shift reports and other required documentation, communicate post updates during transitions, and support routine administrative tasks related to the security-related program.
