Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Have supervisory experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, managing front desk activity, and supporting security-related protocols for employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify identification and visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence and reporting.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs, badge distribution records, and other front desk documentation in support of security-related and customer service expectations.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and assist with arrivals, deliveries, and general reception duties while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific policies.
