About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk Coordinator in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, visitor processing, and/or other security-related policies for a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify credentials, issue visitor badges or passes, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building staff, tenants, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, manage incoming calls or inquiries, and support a professional front desk presence that helps to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions.
  • Complete reports and maintain accurate logs related to incidents, visitor activity, access events, and/or other security-related matters in alignment with Allied Universal and site expectations.
