As a Front Desk Officer at a healthcare location, you will greet staff and visitors, manage access check-ins, answer phones, monitor cameras and alarm panels, and document security-related activity with clear, professional communication. You will be a visible, calm presence who helps to deter incidents through strong customer service and attention to detail. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as directed.
  • Greet and assist employees, patients, visitors, and vendors; manage sign-in and/or badging processes and direct guests to appropriate destinations per site policy.
  • Monitor access control points and front desk systems including cameras, alarms, phones, and radios; report unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document actions taken and notify site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete security-related reports, logs, and incident documentation; communicate shift activity during pass-downs to support continuity of operations at the front desk.
