Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Access in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to manage access, greet employees and visitors, and support security-related check-in procedures. You will monitor the lobby area, respond to questions and concerns, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk.
  • Control access by welcoming and directing visitors, verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor, delivery, and vendor logs.
  • Monitor lobby and entry area conditions and report suspicious or unusual activity, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.
  • Complete required reports and documentation, communicate key information during shift transitions, and support security-related administrative tasks such as phone and radio communications.
