As a Security Officer Foot Patrol in West Chester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
Support daily operations by assisting with directions, answering routine questions, and communicating with site personnel regarding security-related issues and/or unusual activity.
