As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Rover Guard in Flower Mound, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, lighting, and other property-related issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and assist with enforcing site rules for staff, contractors, deliveries, and guests.
  • Support day-to-day operations by maintaining detailed activity logs, completing incident reports, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal teams and site contacts regarding security-related matters.
