As a Screener with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will help monitor entry points, screen people and items, and support access control while maintaining a professional, customer-focused presence. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, document and communicate security-related concerns, and collaborate with site teams to keep operations running smoothly. Requirements

  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology campus or office location.
  • Screen associates, visitors, contractors, and deliveries at designated entry points by verifying credentials, confirming authorization, and directing individuals to the proper check-in process.
  • Operate access control and screening equipment as required, including monitoring entry lanes, managing visitor logs, and coordinating with site contacts regarding access questions and/or exceptions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, documenting events, and escalating per site procedures.
  • Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of entry areas, lobbies, and nearby perimeter zones as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
