As a Screener with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will help support smooth entry by conducting screening at key access points, monitoring assigned areas, and completing routine patrols. You will stay highly visible, report security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with team members and site staff. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct entry screening at access points, including verifying identification, managing visitor check-in, and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
• Monitor walk-through screening equipment and conduct visual inspections of carried items in accordance with site procedures and posted requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and documenting events per policy.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence, monitoring cameras and/or alarms when assigned, and completing required reports and logs.
