As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants, visitors, and property staff through professional customer service and clear communication, while documenting observations and responding to issues as they arise. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees while carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading and service corridors, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and assist with visitor and/or contractor sign-in procedures in accordance with site instructions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
Perform security-related inspections for irregular conditions such as unlocked doors, propped entrances, damaged gates, suspicious items, and/or unauthorized persons, and report findings per post orders.
Complete daily activity logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff to support continuity of operations.
