As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and management, document observations, and respond to concerns with a customer-focused approach. Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
A Guard Card/license is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, and perimeter, and report unusual activity and/or property conditions per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts and requesting additional assistance when needed.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing foot and vehicle traffic, verifying permissions as directed, and assisting with visitor and/or vendor check-in procedures.
Complete required reports and logs, document incident details, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership per established protocols.
