About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Property Rover Full-Time in Pleasant Prairie, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and respond to concerns with a customer-first approach. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial property by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking areas, loading and receiving zones, and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and policy violations through established communication and documentation processes.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, disturbances, alarms, and after-hours activity, and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
  • Complete detailed patrol logs and incident reports, support security-related investigations with accurate observations, and coordinate with property management and local public services when requested.
