As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or concerns, write clear reports, and deliver customer-focused service with strong communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
A Guard Card and/or applicable security license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a tech and office environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access control issues, suspicious activity, and medical or fire-related situations, and escalate to on-site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor entry and exit points and access control systems, verify identification and/or authorization where required, and direct visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.
Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate updates to the next shift and/or management while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
