As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and reports, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering welcoming customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter routes, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and support access control by verifying credentials, directing visitors to sign-in procedures, and reporting unusual access attempts.
Observe and report security-related alarms, camera feeds, and/or other monitoring systems; escalate concerns per site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, scene containment, and coordination with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
Document patrol observations, incidents, and/or hazards in daily activity reports and incident reports with accurate, timely, and complete information.
Assist with traffic flow and pedestrian movement during peak arrival and departure times and/or during special events at the location.
Support protection of client property by identifying unsecured doors, suspicious packages, and/or unusual conditions and reporting findings to site leadership per post orders.
