As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to reports, document activity, support access control as needed, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, and a valid driver’s license is required to meet AU Driver Policy requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, parking lots, and the exterior perimeter to help to identify unusual conditions and report concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, direct traffic and deliveries as needed, and help to maintain orderly entry and exit during shift changes.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate key information during shift handoff.
