As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a cutting-edge technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site personnel, respond to concerns with strong customer service, and document key observations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, supporting an agile, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or credentials, and directing authorized personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production and/or office areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, and monitor alarms and/or cameras as assigned in accordance with post orders.
