As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial services location, you will welcome employees and guests while supporting a professional, controlled entry experience. You will help manage access control and badge checks, monitor activity from the desk, document incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. This is a driving post, and you will bring agility, reliability, and integrity to every interaction.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Staff the front desk by welcoming visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs and directing guests to the appropriate contact or area.
  • Monitor access control and lobby activity through security-related systems and/or cameras, and report unusual activity per site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.
  • Complete required reports such as incident reports, visitor activity logs and shift pass-downs, and communicate relevant updates to management and/or the next shift.
