As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will drive between designated areas and perform routine patrols to help identify and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, support access control, document activity, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and local responders. Requirements

  • Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
  • Have an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; document and report irregular activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with site personnel, and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when required.
  • Complete detailed security-related reports, incident logs, and shift activity documentation; support investigations by preserving observations and maintaining chain of custody for items collected.
