This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, and you will carry out armed duties while providing strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Have 1+ years of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and staff while following site-specific protocols, access procedures, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and restricted areas; verify identification and/or authorization as required and maintain visitor and vehicle logs per post orders.
  • Prepare clear written reports of daily activities, patrol findings, and incidents; communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
